Drills/Drivers
Drill/driver
Everyone should have one of these. And if you’re new to home reno and fixing things, spend your money here. This is an absolute must-have tool, and you’ll always need it. So makes no sense to cheap-out on it.
Impact driver
BUY THIS. I’m not kidding. You may not think you need it. But the impact wrench is great for driving into harder surfaces (think mahogany decking). You can often get them in a set with a regular drill/driver and an impact driver together.

One of my new clients filled out her monthly check-in form this week and wrote something in the "biggest challenge" box that I have not been able to shake.
Translation: she came here to quit Instagram and accidentally quit her own business. I read it back twice. Partly because I have OCD about punctuation. Partly because the realization landed right behind it: she said she joined the program specifically because of the anti-social-media thing. And what she heard, somewhere between my pitch and her credit card, was: you don't have to show up anywhere, at all. I want to be careful here. I built a brand around exactly one specific monster (Instagram's algorithm, the comparison spiral, the daily content treadmill, the way your own jawline starts to look wrong at 11pm under a ring light), and then trusted everyone to do the math on what was left over. A lot of you did the math. You came here because you'd rather grow your list through SEO/GEO and guest podcasts and summits and ads than chase 15-second video trends, and you've been putting yourself in front of new audiences in the smart, slow, list-building way MBA promises. You're the reason this works. Some of you came here hoping the whole thing was a permission slip to disappear. To never pitch, never apply, never email a stranger. To never do anything that makes you uncomfortable or vulnerable. To build a business that runs on a website you never have to actually launch and a list that grows itself out of thin air and good vibes. Friend. That business does not exist. Anti-social-media is a different visibility strategy, yes, but it still requires you to be seen somewhere. I've yet to find a business model that doesn't require marketing of any kind. Being social-free does mean less sleazy DM sliding, and less fighting with an algorithm that was literally designed to destroy you and your sense of self-worth. But it still requires people knowing you exist. So maybe it's pitching four podcasts a month instead of posting four reels a day. There is still rejection. There is still your face out in the world. There is still the part where you email a person you admire and ask for a thing and they might say no or ghost you. That part doesn't go away. It just stops being algorithmically humiliating. So if you've been quietly building a business where the only visibility is the kind that happens by accident, and you're frustrated nothing is growing, I'd skip the strategy diagnosis. The pattern usually isn't strategic. It's fear of being seen, of putting yourself out there, of actually trying and what if it doesn't work.
I couldn't be happier to render Instagram, hustle culture, and the bro-marketing playbook structurally illegitimate, especially if it means you can stop feeling guilty for not doing those things. The answer just isn't "great, you can do nothing now." If you've been hovering somewhere between "I know I need to be visible" and "but please not on social media," I rebuilt my entire Social-Free Visibility course this month. Pitching, podcast guesting, summits, bundles, list swaps, affiliate JVs, partnerships. The whole machine for being known by the right people without opening Instagram once. You can buy it a la carte, or get it free inside MBA 2.0, which is about 90% done and going up in price this summer. Want a quick peek at what we've been building? Here you go: |
